Information for Schools

Kerry Music Education Partnership welcomes the opportunity to work with schools, teachers and parents wishing to access our non-mainstream music education initiatives. Schools should contact the Take Note Music Project Coordinator to discuss participation on the Vocal and Instrumental Tuition or Get Into Music Initiatives.

As the project is self-financing, minimum numbers are required for participation and initiatives are subject to the availability of resources. Where schools are small, we would encourage regional school partnerships to facilitate access for local children. It is expected that schools can demonstrate a commitment to the project through local fundraising and the provision of supports for tutors and students engaged in musical teaching and learning.
